Metsä Group chooses Gdańsk

Jones Lang LaSalle is pleased to announce that Metsä Group, a forest industry group which employs about 12,000 people in more than 30 countries, has signed a lease agreement for more than 1,000 sq m in OPERA Office in Gdańsk. Currently, the company is carrying out a number of operational tasks, such as recruitment, and is due to start its operations in the Tri-City area in mid-September.

Metsä Group produces high-quality products mainly from renewable Nordic wood. It produces tissue and cooking papers, board and paper, pulp and wood products. In Gdańsk, Metsä Group is establishing an in-house Financial Shared Services Centre which executes transactional finance work.

OPERA Office built by EURO Styl, is an A-class office building located in Gdańsk, offering approximately 7,500 sq m of office space. The building consists of two wings: the four-storey part A (with an average floorplan of approximately 700 sq m) and the three-storey part B (with an average floorplan of approximately 1,000 sq m). The building has a distinctive patio covered by old trees that blends in well with the nearby Steffens Park.
