State Enterprise "Polish Airports" announced that in 10 years around the Okęcie Airport will arise business town called Chopin Airport City.
The Polish Airports presented the project in Cannes at MIPIM, where it aroused great interest of developers.
The Polish Airports are ready to contribute with the ground at the same time searching for a partner who will finance the construction of the entire infrastructure, which is supposed to cost approx. 1 milliard PLN. The Chopin Airport City will provide a total of 165 000 sqm of usable space, including the office space for lease located in 16 three to eight storey office buildings.
The business town will also provide space for hotels, conference centers, shopping malls, park, etc. Chopin Airport City will be perfectly connected with the city thanks to the railway line linking the airport with the city center and to s the system of expressways surrounding this area.
The Polish Airports hopes to start construction in about 2 years.
