Gdynia Międzytorze – multifunctional transformation

Over the years, visions for the strategic development of the downtown area of Gdynia have undergone changes. In the Gdynia Międzytorze area, located between Jana z Kolna Street and the Gdynia Port station, a complex combining approximately 4,730 apartments with offices and commercial space will be built. The multifunctional commercial spaces have been designed with the contemporary needs of Gdynia and its residents in mind. The investment also includes new road infrastructure and green areas. The entire project will begin in the first half of 2026. Its cost is estimated at approximately PLN 3.5 billion, and the whole project is to be completed by 2038.

This area remained undeveloped for many years despite its significant location potential. Historically, it served as a railway facility – maneuvering spaces, warehouses, and technical infrastructure. The transformation of Gdynia Międzytorze represents one of the most complex and long-term urban planning processes in the central part of Gdynia.
