Developers, investors and tenants are more and more interested in ecological buildings. Operating costs in the buildings which were awarded the ecological certificate (LEED or BREEAM) are 25% lower than in traditional buildings, while the prime headline rents are at the similar level.
As follows from the European Union research, employees hired in such buildings 35-55% rarely take the sick leave and are in general more productive and effective. The European Union Strategy called “Energy 2020” assumes that from 2021 on, all of the new buildings will be constructed in accordance with energy-savings technologies and strict environment standards.
