Modern office complex to rise on former printing plant site

The Nowy Format office complex will be built in the heart of Krakow on an area previously occupied by a printing plant. The first phase of this 66 million euro investment is a nine-story A1 building offering over 21,000 square meters of office space. A distinctive feature of the project will be extensive green areas including a garden of approximately 1,800 square meters and numerous private terraces exceeding 300 square meters – an unusual solution for such a well-connected central location.

The project stands out for its complete independence from the municipal heating infrastructure, relying on heat pumps and advanced energy-saving systems. The building will be powered exclusively by renewable energy sources with appropriate guarantees of origin. The structure will receive key environmental and user certifications: LEED Core & Shell, WELL Core & Shell, and Building without Barriers, with the entire project implemented in accordance with EU taxonomy criteria defining sustainable investments.

Construction is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, with completion in the third quarter of 2028. The long-term concept envisions three office buildings with a total area reaching 48,000 square meters. Future occupants of the complex will have efficient access to the tram network and a quick connection to the airport taking just half an hour. As an additional amenity, an urban orchard is planned to create a welcoming space for meetings and relaxation.
