Construction work on the Plaza Nova project in Krakow is scheduled to start in 2025. The new complex will consist of two office buildings, each with 6 above-ground floors and 1 underground floor, thus offering a leasable space of approximately 11,000 sqm. What is more, during the construction of the office buildings, it is planned to partly use elements obtained from the demolition of the Plaza shopping mall.
Both buildings are expected to achieve LEED and WELL certification and meet the requirements of ‘Barrier Free Facility’, guaranteeing accessibility for the disabled. There will be photovoltaic panels on the roof of the buildings and parking shelters. The project will take into account the existing Dabski Pond of over 20,000sqm, maintaining its functionality for people in the surrounding area. It is planned to implement additional leisure zones, small architecture elements and infrastructure for cyclists.
Previously, the Plaza Gallery was located on the site of the complex, which was a refugee aid center for a limited period.
