The Port Praski, a company which manages the area has just got an environmental decision allowing for the residential development on part of the land.
Now the Warsaw City Hall is finishing work on a zoning plan for the Port Praski so there is a chance that the long-neglected area could finally be renovated and upgraded.
A private investor is planning the construction of a major mixed-use development with approximately 500 000 sqm of usable space for lease. The investor intends to construct: office and retail space, as well as the modern marina, park and the promenade in the next phases of the investment.
The architectural concept of the project is being prepared by the JEMS Architekci studio, but it is not known when the construction could begin. Actually everything depends on when the zoning plan will come into force and what kind of development it will allow.
