JLL acquires automotive and industrial supplier Schaeffler as tenant in Nowy Targ office project

Schaeffler, a global supplier of components for the automotive and industry business, has leased nearly
6,200 sq m in the Nowy Targ office project developed in Wrocław by Skanska Property Poland. Schaeffler will relocate to its new office at the beginning of next year. Experts from JLL advised Schaeffler on the selection of the location and during the negotiation of lease terms.

The Schaeffler Group is a global automotive and industrial supplier. With around 92,500 employees, Schaeffler
is one of the world’s largest companies in family ownership. It has a worldwide network of manufacturing locations, research and development facilities, and sales companies at approximately 170 locations in more than 50 countries. In Poland, Schaeffler’s presence dates back to 1987. Schaeffler’s service centre has been operating in Wrocław since 2018 under the name of Schaeffler Global Services Europe. It supports processes in the areas of finance, human resources, purchasing, logistics and IT. The center will employ up to 800 people.

Nowy Targ is the seventh building developed by Skanska’s office unit in Wrocław. It will offer nearly 20,000 sq m of office space along with approx. 2,300 sq m of service space. The building is located in the very centre heart of Wrocław, a mere 500 meters from the city's Market Square.

“Last year we decided to enter Wrocław, temporarily leasing an office located on Sucha Street. However, we were ultimately looking for a state-of-the-art office project which would meet our ambitious recruitment plans and create the best working conditions for our team of several hundred employees. We decided in favor of Nowy Targ, which is a conveniently located office investment offering top-tier standards and access to a wide range of services and amenities. We look forward to moving in next year”, says Anna Berczyńska, Managing Director at Schaeffler Global Services Europe.

The building fits in with the historical buildings of Nowy Targ Square and offers a wide range of facilities for tenants. One of the building's greatest advantages is its location - in the city centre - which means it is well-served by public transportation. It is also close to the railway station and the wide range of cultural and entertainment venues that Wrocław has to offer
