JLL participates in the lease agreement with GITD for 7,000 sq m in Warsaw

Warsaw, 3 October, 2014 – The Main Inspectorate of Road Transport (GITD) [1] has signed a lease agreement for 7,000 sq m of office space in the Equator I in Warsaw. Owner of the building is IMMOFINANZ Group. JLL was participating in this transaction.

The agreement signed by the Main Inspectorate of Road Transport in the building owned by IMMOFINANZ proves that the public sector has a growing interest in the leasing of commercial office space.

Michał Lis, Associate Director, Office Agency JLL, commented: "Our observations suggest that the public sector's interest in office space in commercial buildings has been growing since 2009 – 2010. Over the years, due to structural changes and the need to consolidate smaller units in one location, public institutions have started to search for efficient commercial solutions. The Main Inspectorate of Road Transport is a good example of this. Due to a growing number of projects, it looked for a large and efficient office space in one location instead of several smaller units in different locations”.

Equator I, owned by IMMOFINANZ Group, was commissioned for use in 2008. The floor layout allows flexible and efficient space arrangement in accordance with both the ‘’open space’’ formula and cellular layout. It is a suitable office location for both large and small companies. One of the investment’s key features is its easy access to public transport with its location in Al. Jerozolimskie just 5 minutes from Warszawa Zachodnia railway station and a 15- minute drive from Okęcie airport.
