Olimpia Software Pool transforms into Olimpia Nova: A New Chapter in the History of Łódź's Iconic Office Building

The office building previously known as Olimpia Software Pool has gained a new identity – the 8,240 sqm building is officially changing its name to Olimpia Nova. This is a nod to local heritage. Behind the new name are flexible spaces with a brick façade and pro-ecological innovations, all surrounded by green areas that include a private park for tenants. JLL, a leader in commercial real estate advisory services, holds the exclusive commercialization rights for this property.

The rebranding initiated by the owner EPOL Holding responds to growing market demand. The "Nova" element emphasizes a new chapter in the building's operations: modern architecture, innovative technologies, and flexible solutions adapted to today's tenants' needs. The unchanged "Olimpia" in the name remains a tribute to local history, including sentiment for the former swimming pool of that name.

"Changing the name to Olimpia Nova is a natural step in this project's development. We wanted the brand to better reflect the building's character: on one hand, respect for Łódź's roots and residents' sentiment for the former Olimpia swimming pool, and on the other, our ambition to create top-class spaces. Thanks to modernization and the introduction of pro-ecological solutions, Olimpia Nova becomes one of the most attractive propositions on Łódź's office map,” – says Sylwia Plac - Proskura, EPOL Holding.

Respect for Roots and Vision for the Future

The site's history dates back to the 19th century, when this area formed the boundary between Scheibler's garden and the industrial-residential buildings of Księży Młyn. In later years, the Olimpia swimming pool was located here, whose memory still evokes sentiment among Łódź residents.

Currently, Olimpia Nova is a five-story building with a total usable area of approximately 8,240 sqm. Additionally, the building features an underground garage with 89 parking spaces, with 9 more available as part of the site development. The building, designed by the renowned architectural firm Horizone Studio, is distinguished by high-quality materials, thoughtful architecture, and numerous industry awards, including the SARP Award of the Year and the PLGBC Green Building Award. Its location right next to green areas under conservation protection – the former garden of Karol Wilhelm Scheibler's palace – gives it a unique atmosphere.

The building stands out with its award-winning architecture (including the Brick Award and recognition in the TOP 10 office buildings according to PropertyDesign.pl), featuring a characteristic brick façade that combines elegance with innovation. The interiors offer flexible arrangements, advanced technological systems, and unique design, creating an environment conducive to creativity and efficiency.
