Volleyball, thanks a million! The real estate industry sets a charity record

A record-breaking amount of 360,100 PLN was collected during the 7th Charity Real Estate Beach Volleyball Tournament. The funds will be donated to The Children's Memorial Health Institute. In total, 1,180,000 PLN has now been collected in all seven editions of the charity event. The Polish Volleyball Federation was the honorary patron of the tournament won by Panattoni Europe.

WARSAW, 5 August 2016 – On Thursday, 4th August 2016 in La Playa Music Bar in Warsaw, real estate companies together set a record as 360,100 PLN, the biggest total so far, was collected during the 7th Charity Real Estate Beach Volleyball Tournament organized by JLL. 44 teams (308 players) participated in the volleyball matches, while approx. 1,500 people took part in the whole event.

Funds raised from team registration, an auction of items donated by sponsors and collected from individuals will be given to The Children’s Memorial Health Institute to purchase two vehicles for the transportation of blood and medical products. Tomasz Trzósło, Managing Director of JLL in Poland, and Mirosław Wachowiak, Vice-President of The Polish Volleyball Federation presented a check for 360,100 PLN to Elżbieta Golińska, Board Member of Foundation Friends of the Children's Health Center, Krystyna Ławicka, Vice-President of Foundation Friends of the Children's Health Center and Małgorzata Syczewska, Director of The Children's Memorial Health Institute.

After a fiercely contested game, Panattoni Europe won the tournament in great style. In a well-deserved second place came players from Bird&Bird, while Skanska came third. In total, 44 teams representing companies such as Adgar Poland, Allen & Overy, AXI Immo, Baker & McKenzie, Balmain, Bird & Bird, BNP Paribas Real Estate, Capital Park, CBRE, Colliers, Cushman & Wakefield, ECE, Echo Investment, FBSerwis, Ghelamco, Go4Energy, Greenberg Traurig, GTC, HB Reavis, Heitman, ING, JLL, Knight Frank, Metro Properties, MLP Group, NAI Estate Fellows, Neinver, Nuvalu, Panattoni Europe, Peakside Capital, Polski Holding Nieruchomości S.A., Prologis, PZU Inwestycje, Savills, SEGRO, Skanska, Tétris, Torus, TPA Horwath, TriGranit, Unibail-Rodamco, Valad, White Star Real Estate and Xcity Investment met on 'the field of battle'. There have been 104 matches.
