Instead of the planned modernization, the Saski Point office building located at 111 Marszałkowska Street in Warsaw will be completely demolished. The original plan assumed the transformation of the existing structure into an apartment building, but an in-depth analysis of its technical condition showed that such a solution would be impractical. A new structure resembling the previous one in appearance will be built in place of the current building, featuring 48 apartments of various sizes.
Demolition work began in August after the building was vacated by existing tenants. The demolition will last until the end of 2026 or early 2027, while construction of the new residential complex will be completed no later than the third quarter of 2028. The new apartment building will maintain a height of approximately 30 meters, with exclusive units featuring large terraces overlooking the nearby Saxon Garden on its top floors.
Saski Point, disappearing from Warsaw's landscape, is a Class A office building constructed in 1999 that offered over 8,000 square meters of office space and an underground parking facility for 91 cars. The new owner acquired the property in 2024 and obtained all necessary permits to develop a residential investment with a retail and service component. Apartment sales are scheduled to begin in early September 2026.
