Małachowskiego Square has building permit

Hochtief Development Poland has just received permit for the reconstruction and expansion of the historic apartment house at Małachowskiego Square. The project includes restoration of the historic apartment house and extension works of modern part at the rear.

Hochtief in cooperation with the Monuments Conservator will restore a historic building facade facing the Małachowskiego Square and Traugutta Street and will renovate the historic interiors simultaneously adapting them to modern office standards.

On the ground floor and first floor will be situated retail space with huge glass windows. At the rear of the building, from the side of Academy of Fine Arts, a modern 6-storey building will be developed. The modern part will also have 2-underground floors housing approximately 100 parking spaces.

The buildings will offer approximately 12 500 sqm of modern office space for lease. The project has been designed in accordance with ecological solutions and standards of BREEAM environmental certification system. The investment is scheduled for 2013.
