A modern office complex will be built at 53 Grzybowska Street. The developer, who acquired the property at the end of 2025, has decided to completely redevelop the site. This means that the historic headquarters of a Polish bank, built in the early 1990s, will soon disappear from the city skyline.
The existing tower, approximately 85 meters tall, has been a recognizable landmark in this part of the capital for three decades. After the bank’s relocation, the building stood vacant and was put on the market. Its new owner has already submitted the necessary documentation for demolition, which is set to begin shortly and is expected to take several months. A new structure reaching nearly 100 meters in height will rise in place of the existing tower.
The future building will meet the highest environmental and technical standards, as confirmed by the planned certifications: BREEAM at the Outstanding level, as well as WiredScore, SmartScore, and WELL H&S certifications. Construction is set to begin in the spring of 2027, thereby contributing to the broader transformation of the Wola district into a key business hub of Warsaw.
