New Elevators at V Tower

V Tower has undergone a comprehensive modernization of its elevator system, replacing 19 outdated units. The project included thirteen elevators in the main tower, five in the podium areas, and an emergency services elevator.

The results are impressive: the modern elevators consume half as much energy, and the entire building has reduced CO₂ emissions by over 40% compared to pre-modernization levels.

The replacement took place while the building was fully operational, alongside other renovation work. The equipment had to function continuously, serving daily users. A major challenge was inaccuracies in the old documentation; the actual dimensions of the elevator shafts did not match the plans, forcing contractors to make quick corrections and adjustments on-site.

The story of V Tower proves that true progress in cities does not lie in building ever-taller structures. Sometimes the key is simply the intelligent modernization of what we already have.
